Wednesday in class we will be in pods again working with an outline document for chapter 13 in Stearns. Pod leaders will be facilitating the process of analyzing the outlines for cause and effect, compare and contrast, change over time, important vocabulary, dates and people, pull and push migration forces, concepts that can be grouped by 'economic', 'political', and 'social/cultural' and APWH themes.
Pod members will be encouraged to use 'academic language' while contributing to the analysis. Cards with sentence stems and 'academic language' suggestions will be available on each pod table.
The expectation is that the Stearns chapter 13 outlines will be totally marked up showing dedicated analysis of the concepts listed above.
