APWH

I know many of you will need quiet reading time and, perhaps access to the required textbook.
I am setting up a quiet 'study/reading hall' after school on Monday and Tuesday from 3 to 4pm ... and also Thursday morning before school from 6 to 7am (for those of you with after-school activities) in my classroom.
This is dedicated time for our class, our work. This is not visiting or tutoring time ... there will be no distractions (including using your electronics) so you have an opportunity to concentrate. Please do not bring your friends from other classes to "keep you company" - they can wait for you upstairs. There will be a classroom copy of our textbook for you to read or do your note cards for the chapter of the week - the book is for our study/hall only and may not be checked out.
I will be working quietly at my desk ... the door will be closed but unlocked with a sign indicating it is the APWH study hall. Please come in and go out quietly. The textbook will be on my desk if you need it ... return it to me before you leave.
If you are close to finishing the chapter reading and its 4pm I will be flexible about staying a little longer so you can finish ... I cannot do that on Thursday morning.
This is dedicated time for you to study without distraction - I strongly advise you to adjust your schedule to take advantage of it!
I will have after-school tutoring for all subjects on Thursday and Friday from 3 to 4pm and of course you can always email me with questions or concerns.
