Tuesday 2/9 both period 6 & 8 are in the JFK room - please just go right there.
Tuesday 2/9 your note cards for Chapter 16 are due - you can give them to me in the JFK room (I bought more rubber bands!) I will also accept any 'Absolutism' completed essays ... you need to get them to me on or before class on 2/11. If you need help ... or would like me to preview what you have ... please just send to my email.
Thursday 2/11 we will continue with student presentations over the 1450 to 1750 period. These PP presentations are worth 150 points - please be sure to send your slides to me before - I will check that you are in line with the rubric so that you can earn full points. Our goal is to complete the presentations that day.
You will have a packet on gender issues in World History to read and annotate over the long weekend.
Saturday, 2/13 all period 6&8 students will be at the JFK room from 9 to 10 to take a multiple choice test. The test is 70 questions - you will have 55 minutes. The test does count and will be graded.
And it will be worth 100 points (70 for the questions, 30 for showing up!)
On Tuesday 2/16 we will finish up Chapter 15 and we will be doing some in class reading. Please bring you textbooks to class. We will work with the packet on Gender Issues in World History in pods. Please do a close reading over the material so you will be prepared.
